[Spatial Mimicry + Distantia]

Author: Franz Rosati
Nationality: Italian
Year of production: 2025
Type of Artwork: Printed digital artworks

Name: Spatial Mimicry XYZ
Dimensions: 70x150cm Trittico
Technique: Pointcloud/Gaussian Splatmap Assemblage
Year: 2026

Spatial Mimicry XYZ is a triptych of digital artworks, an excerpt from the audiovisual project WEAKONTOLOGY, that transforms visual data recovered through OSINT processes into a surreal and deconstructed landscape. By juxtaposing the dense yet evanescent materiality of “Gaussian Splatmaps” with the rarefaction and disintegration of forms and shapes into Pointclouds, the triptych reshapes the assembly of real-world elements into a new psychic territory.

Name: DISTANTIA HEN19L
Dimensions: 100x200cm
Technique: Multispectral Analysis Render
Year: 2026

DISTANTIA HEN19L translates the invisible data captured by the Sentinel mission sensors into a visual and printed form. Through multispectral analysis, the landscape is stripped of its photographic appearance to reveal its underlying energetic and bio-chemical nature.

In this process, the Earth is transformed into an abstract archive of geometries, colors, and forms.
