Imaginary Landscapes [fixed media variation] is a multichannel audiovisual installation exploring landscape, memory, and perception. Using data from natural and architectural sites in Southern Italy, the work reconstructs and transforms these environments through generative techniques such as LiDAR scanning, AI, and algorithmic processes. Presented on four screens and loudspeakers, it offers a non-linear, immersive spatial experience. Created collaboratively by students from LEM (Lecce Electronic Music – Conservatory of Lecce) under expert guidance, this intermediate version previews the final work expected by late 2025.

Developed within the framework of SISS – Sounding Images, Screening Sounds, a project the Conservatories “F.A. Bonporti” (Trento) and “Tito Schipa” (Lecce), IED (Milan), and IULM (Milan). Co-funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, within the framework of Italia Domani – National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with the support of the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR).
